Privacy Notice

CertiFi FZ LLC (“CertiFi”, “we”) runs CertiFi Hub at hub.certififz.com. This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).
What we collect
- Account: email address, name, sign-in times and IP addresses of consents.
- Learning: courses, lesson progress (including video watch progress), exam attempts and scores, certificates.
- Payments: order details and Stripe references. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Profile (optional): mobile number, location, job title, experience, education, skills, employer, LinkedIn, nationality, CV and photo.
- Career network (only if you opt in): your visibility choices, consents, contact requests, applications and a log of partner profile views.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- To provide the courses and certificates you sign up for (performance of a contract).
- To verify certificates publicly by number — showing only name, course, date and status (legitimate interest in the integrity of credentials).
- To show your career profile to approved partner organisations — only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep payment and tax records (legal obligation).
Who sees your data
CertiFi staff who run the service; approved partner organisations of the types you choose (career card only, unless you accept their contact request or apply to them); our processors: Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage, UAE North region), Stripe (payments) and Zoho (email).
How long we keep it
Accounts with no sign-in for 36 months are anonymised. Declined partner applications are deleted after 90 days. Certificate verification records and payment records are kept as explained on your Privacy page.
Your rights
You can access and download your data, correct it, withdraw consent, object, and delete your account from My account → Privacy & data. For anything else, or to complain, contact us on WhatsApp +971 50 118 3434 or through certififz.com. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.
